Going, going, gone?

It’s not me going yet! We (Mr F & I) went to a property auction tonight, mostly out of sheer curiosity, plus we’d seen a cute little cottage in a wee village we both quite fancied the look off, (this one - http://www.pattinson.co.uk/Public/content/Buy/Estate-Agents/Property-For-Sale/47816.htm)

It made the dream of living in village with a pub, kids, a couple of dogs, long walks in the beautiful countryside a very affordable reality :o There were a few others, but not auction properties.

So we went…. The temptation to register to bid was there, although I’m glad we didn’t as it would have meant waiting ages, it took an hour to get through 19 properties never mind get to 119  Instead I agreed a to get a valuation on our property and results of the auction under the guise of “it can’t hurt to find out, right”? Last time we looked at selling we sold our unfinished flat on day 1 of selling, hmmm….

As MrF reckons it would mean cutting loose and upping sticks would be easier, all the DIY jobs could be put on hold we could rent somewhere less urban etc.

I’m not sure, maybe I’d like to change one one bit of life at a time, and after a day of 2 interviews and several phonecalls for new careers/work opportunities, it’s all seeming like a lot in one go? Maybe I need to get my new found bravery back? (See holes entry.) Maybe I’m feeling like a bit of a lost sheep at the moment, I’m not sure…. Maybe I need to take the place and stop wondering and worrying?

(ps. I have managed to swop earrings, although I reccomend not trying to toast crumpets at the same time - poked myself in the ear and burnt my crumpets!)
